XXV World Congress of the International Union of Architects.

In the first week of August 2014 in Durban (South African Republic) was XXV World Congress of the International Union of Architects, unites nearly half a million professional architects from around the world. The work of this forum that brought together participants from 116 countries and territories, focused around the theme of "Architecture is different in other places," which was clearly illustrated by the representatives of the various countries, as well as the respective main exhibition. Also the Congress was held a children's exhibition, which devoted to the architecture of the future. Furthermore agenda of forum included electing a new President of IUA and the establishment of venue in 2020 XXVII World Congress of the IUA. Following a vote, the new President of IUA was elected Isa Mohammed - the architect of Malaysia, and in 2020 the World Congress of IUA will be held in the city of Rio de Janeiro (Brazil). As is known, the next XXVI World Congress of IUA in 2017 will be held in Seoul (South Korea). In the delegation of Kazakhstan architects in the forum also attended representatives of RSE "Gosexpertiza" Bekmukhambetov S.K. (Astana city) and Karmanov SH.D. (Almaty city).
