There was held a seminar for workers of branches of the RSE “Statexpertise” on the topic “Fundamentals of earthquake-resistant construction” in Almaty

There was held a seminar was held for employees of the branches of RSE “Statexpertise” on the topic “Fundamentals of earthquake-resistant construction” organized by KazNIISA JSC, which was attended by employees of the branch as well as experts of the branches of the RSE "Statexpertise" in the Kyzylorda region and the Western region from 4th to 5th of April 2019 in the branch of RSE “Statexpertise” in Almaty (hereinafter referred to as the branch). The seminar was moderated by a lecturer, director of the center of seismic resistance, inspection of buildings and structures of KazNIISA JSC, Ph.D. Omarov Zh. The following topics were considered during the seminar: the nature and causes of earthquakes: seismicity and seismic hazard, earthquake intensity, seismic activity and earthquake magnitude; construction in seismic zones: current situation of regulatory, technical and legal norms in the countries of the European Union, as well as in seismically dangerous regions of Kazakhstan - a new regulatory and technical base of the RK EN PEN, JV REN EN. Application of a new regulatory and technical base in seismic construction - JV RK 2-03-30-2017 “Construction in seismic zones”. The correlation of the joint venture of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Construction Norms and Regulations of the Republic of Kazakhstan in seismic regions of Kazakhstan, design requirements for foundations and foundations, covering and overlapping of buildings erected on sites with increased seismic risk (6.7.8.9.10 points), etc. There were presented the corresponding attestation certificates at the end of the seminar, after the successful completion of the attestation.
