Lecture on anti-corruption legislation

Pursuant to the Plan of measures on realization of the Program for fight against corruption for 2016, a branch of RSE "Gosexpertiza" in Almaty, for the employees of the branch lecture on anticorruption legislation was held June 10, 2016. Lectures were Bratenkov Alexander - director of the NGO "Community Project", a member of the party "Nur Otan". Bratenkov A. in his speech he said that the fight against corruption is a key strategic priority of the state policy of Kazakhstan and President Nursultan Nazarbayev. The state anti-corruption policy will strengthen the social, economic and political stability in the country, increase the degree of protection of the rights, freedoms and legitimate interests of both citizens and society from criminal manifestations. The program is designed to combine the efforts of the state and society against corruption and provides for involvement in anti-corruption activities of civil society, business community, strengthening the control of public authorities, improving anti-corruption legislation, monitoring the quality of public services, creating a culture of rejection of corruption in society and models of anti-corruption behavior on all levels of education and training. The program is based on four basic principles: the principle of systems, the principle of transparency, openness and accountability of the state to society, the principle of equal social partnership, the partnership principle of the Party and society. Fundamentally important approach of this program is the emphasis on eliminating the causes and conditions of corruption, rather than struggle with its consequences. Also Alexander Bratenkov spent explanatory work on the new rules of the Land Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The lecturer explained that the amendments were adopted primarily to stimulate the development of the agricultural sector. Citizens of Kazakhstan now have the right to buy are in the lease of agricultural land to private ownership of 50 percent of the cadastral value in installments over 10 years.
