A seminar on the prevention of risks during snowmelt was held in Almaty.

There was held a seminar on the topic “Application of cable snow-storing systems to prevent risks (injuries and deaths, property damage)”, in which the head of the production department M. Kurmangaliev took part at KAZGOR PA on August 8, 2019 The event was organized by RITOX LLP with the assistance and participation of the Danish concern Danfoss, the National Association of Designers of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the technical committee, the center for building standards, attestation, standardization and certification in the field of architecture, urban planning and construction. The representative of the Atameken NPP Zaitan BB made an introductory speech, he noted the importance of discussing and gaining knowledge aimed at preventing the risks associated with snowmelt, as well as supporting similar events held for entrepreneurs and representatives of state bodies with the aim of uniting the above questions. During the seminar, a special guest made the speech - the head of the support group for electric and heating systems of the international Danfoss concern in Moscow, S. Mikhin, who spoke in detail about the advantages of cable electric heating produced under the brands Devi, Danfoss and Veria, the reasons for the formation of icicles, calculating the power of the heating system of the roof, installing heating cables in the gutters and pipes. In addition, he presented examples of installations with calculation of heating capacities on steps and roofs, calculation of heat loss in pipelines, and general recommendations for cable installation. The seminar also discussed issues on building codes and rules regarding penalties for non-compliance with the parameters specified in them, as well as other relevant issues. At the end of the seminar, all participants were issued certificates.
